About Us

A little about us. IslamicEduHub isn’t a big organization, at least not yet. It started because a lot of Islamic content online felt like it was written for two very different audiences: people who already study this stuff seriously, or people who just want a quick two-line answer and don’t really care if it’s oversimplified. There wasn’t much for the person in between who wants to actually understand something properly but doesn’t know the terminology yet. That gap kept bothering us enough that we decided to just start filling it, one guide at a time.

That’s the gap we’re trying to fill. Free guides on Quran, prayer, Hadith, and daily practice, written the way you’d want a knowledgeable friend to explain something to you, not the way a textbook would.

Why We’re Doing This

The information about Islam isn’t hard to find online. There’s a huge amount of it. What’s harder is knowing which of it to trust, and where to actually begin if you’re starting from nothing.

So if you’re new to this, or you grew up around it but never learned the details, or you’re just coming back after a few years away — that’s who this site is for. We try not to assume you already know the vocabulary. Some guides run long because a topic genuinely needs the space; that’s fine with us.

What’s Here Right Now

The library is small at the moment. We’ve got beginner guides for people just getting started, and a set of prayer guides covering the five daily prayers plus Jumu’ah, Eid, Witr, and Tahajjud — with honest explanations of the points where scholars have genuinely disagreed rather than picking a side and pretending it’s settled. Hadith explanations and daily duas are both coming, just not published yet.

Some of the prayer guides took a lot longer to finish than we expected, mostly because of that last point — going back and forth on how to fairly present a disagreement between the four schools of thought isn’t quick work, and we redid a few sections more than once after double-checking the sources. We’d rather take the extra week than get it wrong, even if that means the site grows more slowly than it otherwise could.

How We Try to Get Things Right

Before we publish a guide, we go back to the Quran and Hadith and check the sources behind what we’re saying. When scholars disagree on something — and on prayer especially, they disagree more than most people realize — we try to lay out the different positions instead of quietly picking one and calling it the only answer.

We’re not scholars ourselves, and we’re not pretending to be. We’re basically trying to do the legwork for you: find the reliable sources, work through the details, and explain what we find in plain English. If you ever spot something that’s wrong, say so — we’ll fix it.
